In college, I used to eat at a certain dining hall fairly frequently because it was in the middle of all my classes. I was a big fan of smoked turkey on a sundried tomato wrap and I would dip it into honey mustard dressing from the salad bar. Delicious. Kate can back me up on this if any of you doubt me. And on days when I need a little pick-me-up, a little extra pep-in-my-step, I would treat myself to Cherry Coke from the fountain.
Today is a Cherry Coke day. I'm not sure why. It's a beautiful day out, it's essentially my Friday as I'm off the rest of the week, and I've got a nice weekend to look forward to. But I just feel a little off, a little dissatisfied, a little like I need some Cherry Coke.
But because I'm well into my 30s now and trying to stay away from too much caffeine and empty calories, I've opted for sugar-free hot chocolate instead. Which is good. But it could also use a little shot of Kahula.

Well into your 30's....did I miss a few years somewhere? If so, let me know because I am now unsure of my own age....! :)
