Sunday
NEW SHOW ALERT!!! Actually two new shows. Million Dollar Password (with your host, Regis Philbin!); In Plain Sight (description from USA Network site below). So exciting.
In Plain Sight is an hour-long drama that revolves around Mary Shannon (Mary McCormack), a tough, sexy US Marshal who works for the Federal Witness Protection Program. While many of the witnesses under her care are high-maintenance career criminals, some are just innocent people who had the misfortune of witnessing a crime or falling victim to one. For all the witnesses, testifying means leaving behind everything and everyone they know, changing identities and relocating to the utterly unfamiliar southwest to build a brand new life.
Along with her partner Marshall Mann (Fred Weller) – yes, his name is Marshall and he is a marshal – Mary helps her witnesses establish new lives for themselves with varying degrees of success. Mary must also deal with her co-dependant mother, Jinx (Lesley Ann Warren) and equally co-dependant sister, Brandi (Nichole Hiltz), both of whom can’t know the true nature of Mary’s job, which adds a layer of complexity to an already fraught family dynamic.
