Go Red For Women - National Wear Red Day

Friday, February 6 is National Wear Red Day sponsored by the American Heart Association to raise awareness of heart disease and stroke. Make it work!

Wearing red is only one way you can support the cause. For example, from February 5-8, Macy's is offering in-store savings to customers wearing red.

Please visit the American Heart Association Go Red for Women site for more information on symptoms, treatments, programs, and shopping savings!

Check Your Feet

Something's in the air today. Cross your fingers and check your feet.

First, this from an unnamed reader. I'll call her "Dom."

I packed my gym bag this morning while I was on the phone with Dad, and when I was getting dressed at the gym, yep, I have two different shoes, both black, both nine west with the same height heel, one smooth leather, one croc pattern, fortunately, one right and one left. No one has noticed yet.

And then - Mrs. Los Fitz: Christne's Corner: Uh Oh!

Reason #476 Why I Love New York: Lucky Brand Jeans Cares

After a hard evening of shopping at the Lucky Brand Jeans store for some more killer jeans, I needed to use the restroom. I think it's generally for employees only, but you spend enough money, you can get access to plumbing. While in there, I took a minute to snap this picture of the sign on the back of the door.

Lucky Jeans cares, y'all. Recognize. Respond. Refer. And buy some expensive, tight pants while you're at it.

Worship Me, Bitches!

Here's a little clip in case you missed Christian Siriano on Ugly Betty last night. Please make note of Amanda (the fabulous Becki Newton) working it with the models. Fierce!

Summer is Here!

How do I know summer is here? Because, I have my first flip flop blisters starting! Also, my feet were ridiculously dirty and my awesome new Adidas flip flops are all gross looking on the heels now and not so awesome. They shouldn't get that dirty so fast. So sad!

A-D-I-D-A-S...

As most of you know, sometimes my taste veers towards, well frankly, tacky. I know it. You know it. It's kind of part of my charm. For whatever reason, I'm kind of obsessed with Adidas. So, of course, I was thrilled today to come across the Queens Borough Track Top. I mean - how awesome, right? Check it out:

Just the right amount of tacky, right? And I would never wear it in Queens because I am self-aware enough to know that Queens clothing is only funny when I'm out of the city. So I was definitely looking forward to wearing it at the Murphy's or in Albany or Utica. And then I zoomed in. Which I can't do here, because Adidas is tricky with their site so I can't get an upclose on the zoom (click here for product page). But because this item is a tribute to RUN-DMC DJ Jam Master Jay (RIP), it features a "JAM" print all over it. Which I think might be a little too hood rat for me. Or as Kate so eloquently put it "it might look like you're just getting off a boat." Sad because it's true. If I see it in a store, I might re-evaluate but I'm not holding out hope. I even reviewed the men's version which features slightly less "JAM" but it's there just the same.

So, I think instead I might make do with the shell toe and fat laces seen here:
